"ROOMS," BY JAMES L. RUBART
Micah has it all. His software company in Seattle has made it to the top, and he has the full lifestyle to show for it. A letter from his diseased great-uncle informing him that he has left Micah a house on the shores of Cannon Beach is about to turn his world upside down. Reading this Christian novel was like a ride that I knew I needed to be on, but looked forward to ending. This might be because it caused me to do a lot of self examination, and to look deeper into my own faith. The concept of a home filled with rooms that appear suddenly to shine a spotlight into certain parts of your life and soul was fascinating. I thought the author did a good job of navigating a storyline full of twists and turns. Such a good book, and one I know I will be thinking back on in days to come! |
